1. Services Offered

SouthBayK9 provides professional dog training, boarding, evaluations, private lessons, group classes, at-home consultations, service dog training, and related canine services. All services are subject to availability and trainer discretion.


2. Eligibility

By using our services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old

  • You are the legal owner or authorized handler of the dog

  • Your dog is up-to-date on required vaccinations (proof may be requested)


3. Evaluations & Consultations

  • Evaluations are required before enrollment in most programs

  • Fees for evaluations or consultations are non-refundable unless otherwise stated

  • Recommendations are based on observed behavior at the time of evaluation


4. Training Results Disclaimer

Dog training results are not guaranteed. Training outcomes depend on:

  • Dog temperament, age, health, and history

  • Owner consistency and follow-through

  • Environmental and external factors

SouthBayK9 does not guarantee specific results, certifications, or behavioral outcomes.


5. Owner Responsibility

Owners agree to:

  • Follow all trainer instructions and homework assignments

  • Maintain consistency after training completion

  • Use training tools properly and safely

  • Understand that behavior can regress without continued practice


6. Payments & Fees

  • All prices are subject to change without notice

  • Payments must be made according to the agreed schedule

  • No refunds on deposits, completed services, or partially used programs

  • Late pickups may incur daily boarding fees


7. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Missed appointments or late cancellations may result in forfeiture of fees

  • Repeated no-shows may result in service refusal

  • Boarding dogs not picked up after completion may incur additional charges


8. Boarding & Day Training

While every precaution is taken:

  • Dogs interact with people, tools, and environments that involve inherent risks

  • SouthBayK9 is not responsible for illness, injury, escape, theft, or death unless caused by gross negligence

  • Dogs must be healthy and free of contagious diseases


9. Aggressive or Dangerous Dogs

  • SouthBayK9 reserves the right to refuse or terminate services for dogs deemed unsafe

  • Owners must disclose any bite history, aggression, or behavioral concerns

  • Muzzles or safety equipment may be required


10. Liability Waiver

By enrolling your dog, you agree to:

  • Release SouthBayK9, its owners, trainers, and staff from liability

  • Assume all risks associated with dog training, boarding, and handling

  • Accept responsibility for any damage or injury caused by your dog


11. Service Dog Disclaimer

SouthBayK9 provides training services only.
We do not guarantee:

  • Legal service dog status

  • Airline, housing, or public access approval

  • ADA classification or acceptance

Certification or documentation eligibility depends on third-party evaluations and compliance.


12. Intellectual Property

All content on this website (logos, videos, photos, text, training methods) is the property of SouthBayK9 and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.


13. Privacy

Personal information collected through bookings, forms, or communication is handled according to our Privacy Policy and will not be sold or shared unlawfully.


14. Right to Refuse Service

SouthBayK9 reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time for reasons including but not limited to:

  • Unsafe dog behavior

  • Owner non-compliance

  • Abusive conduct toward staff

  • Failure to pay fees


15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be handled in the appropriate courts within California.

SouthBayK9 may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
